The Hindu festival of Radha Ashtami commemorates the birth anniversary of ‘Shri Radha Rani’, the consort of Lord Krishna. It is celebrated on the ‘ashtami’ of the Shukla Paksha during the month of ‘Bhadrapada’ in the Hindu calendar.
