Govardhan Puja is a popular Hindu festival. Govardhan Puja is celebrated the next day after Diwali. Govardhan Puja is quite famous in Punjab, Hariana, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. It falls on the fourth day of the five-day Diwali festival and generally on the next day of Diwali. It is celebrated on the first date of the Shukla Paksha of Kartik month according to the Hindu calendar. In Govardhan Puja, we all express our gratitude to the cow we worshiped.
