Narak Chaturdashi is a Hindu festival. Narak Chaturdashi falls on Chaturdashi (14th day) of the Krishna Paksha in the Vikram Samvat Hindu calendar month of Ashwin. This Chaturdashi date is also known as Chhoti Deepawali. On this day, bathing in the morning and Yama tarpan and in the evening, deep donation is of great importance. Narak Chaturdashi also known as 'Roop Chaudas', 'Hell Chaudas', 'Hell Chaturdashi' or 'Naraka Puja'. We also know Narak Chaturdashi as Chhoti Deepawali. According to Hinduism, on the day of Narak Chaturdashi we worship the God of Death, whom we know as 'Yama'. This day is celebrated one day before Deepawali.
