Akal Bodhon is the worship of the Devi Durga.Akaal Bodhan means worship or invocation of Durga in an uncustomary time. Akal Bodhan is done in Ashwin month. The ritual is performed on Shashti Tithi after Kalparambha ritual. The ritual of Bodhon was first time observed by Lord Rama, who before fighting Ravana, wanted to worship Goddess Durga.
