Vaikuntha Chaturdashi is a Hindu holy day, which is observed on chaturdashi the 14th lunar day of the waxing moon fortnight (shukla paksha) of the Hindu month of Kartik (November–December). Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva are worshipped on this day. It is also known as Baikunth Chaudash. Devotees keep fast on this day.

It is a special significance of Baikuntha Chaturdashi fasting and should be fasted on this day. On this day, bathing the Ganges and giving lamps in the evening has special significance. According to Shiva Purana, Once, Lord Vishnu, Lord of Vaikuntha, left his abode and went to Varanasi to worship Lord Shiva on this day. Devotees of Lord Vishnu offer Him one thousand lotuses while reciting the Vishnu sahasranama, the thousand names of Vishnu.
