Vaisakhi is a historical and religious festival in Hinduism and Sikhism. It is usually celebrated on 13 or 14 April every year. In Hinduism, Vaisakhi celebrates the Solar new year, based on the Vikram Samvat calendar. Vaisakhi marks the first day of the month of Vaisakha.
