Varalakshmi Vratam Puja is a festival to propitiate the Goddess Lakshmi, the consort of Lord Vishnu. It is an important pooja performed by many women in the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Maharastra and Uttar Pradesh.
