Yashoda Jayanti is the birthday festivity of Mata Yashoda. Yashoda is the foster-mother to the god Krishna and a wife of Nanda. Yashoda Jayanti is observed annually on Krishna Paksha Shashthi in the month of Phalguna as per North Indian lunar calendar.
