Even after many years they had no kids. In the end, Sudeha persuaded her husband and married him to his sister Ghushma. Ghushma was also an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva and by the grace of Lord Shiva, he received a son. Sudeha had promised to not be jealous of his sister however that could not happen.
After some years, Sudeha slaughtered Ghushma's sleeping son and threw the dead body in a nearby pond. In the morning, there was chaos in the home, however despite being distraught, Ghoshma didn't give up Shiva devotion. She went to the same pond as traditional.
