Ashtami of Krishna Paksha of every month is known as Kalashtami. Kalashtami is the day of Bhairav Ji's origin. Bhairav Ji called Lokpal. His noun Darsha comes in the Digpalas. They protect the person from the ten directions.
Is believed to be the complete incarnation of. It's simply such a deity that may be worshiped with the qualities of Sat, Raj, and Tama. Masik Kalashtami Vrat Vidhi: -
- According to Narada Purana, Kalabhairava and Mother Durga should be worshiped on the day of Kalashtami.

Significance of Kalashtami fast: -
In Tantra Sadhana, worship of eight types of Bhairava is said. These forms are Krodha Bhairava, Manikat Bhairava, Kapali Bhairava, Asitang Bhairav, Rudra Bhairav, Chandra Bhairav Bhishna, Bhairava Sanhar Bhairava.Within the Kalika Purana, Bhairav is described as Lord Ganesha whose vehicle is a dog. By observing the fast of Kalabhairava, all the wishes of the worshiper are fulfilled. A person doing Bhairav Sadhana gets rid of all sorrows.

Monthly Kalashtami is considered to be worshiped at night time. This present day of Kaal Bhairav is worshiped with 16 methods. Fasting is done only after offering Arghya to Moon on night. The devotees who fast on the day of Kalashtami recite the story of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and perform Bhajan Kirtan with reverence.These fasting on this day should listen or learn the story of Bhairav Baba. It's believed that worshiping Bhairav removes ghosts, negative powers and financial problems. Lord Bhairav's vehicle is considered a black dog, it's considered beneficial to feed him on this day.
According to Narada Purana, it's believed that Kalabhairava and the black form of Mata Durga are worshiped on Kalashtami. The worship of Goddess Kali is considered important on the night of Kalashtami.
According to mythology, at one time, a warfare of superiority broke out between Lord Vishnu and Brahma Dev and Lord Shiva formulated the plan for this decision. In that plan, Shiva describes Lord Vishnu as superior, all of them agree with Shiva however insulting Shiva, denying Brahma Dev. Lord Shiva gets angry and assumes the form of raudra.
On seeing this form, fear spreads within the three worlds. He was riding a dog and had a penalty in his hand. After being punished in the hand, he was called as the punisher. Bhairava cut off Brahma's fifth head in anger. Brahma Dev realized his mistake and apologized.
After this the dispute ended. After this dispute, 4 heads of Brahma Dev survived and Kalabhairava came to be considered as punisher of sinners. This fast is considered helpful for those who have financial problems or are losing jobs and business.
