Karni Mata is also the Kuldevi of Bikaner royal family.
It is stated that Karni Mata lived for 151 years. Currently, Karani Mata used to worship her Ishta Devi in a cave the place this temple is located. This cave continues to be located in the temple complex.It is stated that Karni Mata was jyotirlin on 1538.
