Importance of Yashoda Jayanti

Yashoda Jayanti Puja Vidhi
- On the day of Yashoda Jayanti, a woman worshiping should wake up early in the morning and bathe in a holy river and wear clean clothes.
- After this, take a clean outpost and clean it by sprinkling Ganga water on it and install a urn by laying a red cloth over it.
- After installing the Kalash, install a picture or statue of Laddu Gopal sitting on Yashoda’s lap on it.
- After this, offer red chunri to mother Yashoda and all things like kumkum, fruits, flowers, sweet rot, panjiri, Makhan etc.
- After offering all these things, burn incense and lamps and duly worship Yashoda Mata and Lord Shri Krishna.
- After offering the aarti, offer sweet Roth to Goddess Yashoda and offer Lord Krishna to Panjiri and Makhan.
- Finally, after completing all the puja rituals, make sure to provide food to the cow. Because cow is very much loved by Lord Krishna.
Yashoda Jayanti Story
According to the legend, Goddess Yashoda did the harsh penance of Lord Vishnu. Pleased with this, Lord Vishnu asked him to ask for a boon, then mother Yashoda said that my wish will be fulfilled only when you come to my house as a son.
After this, Lord Vishnu said that in the coming time I will be born in the house of Vasudev and Devaki’s mother. But you will follow my care Time passed and it happened.
Lord Shri Krishna took a son as the eighth child of Devaki and Vasudeva, and after this Vasudeva left them to Nanda and Yashoda. So that they can be saved from Kansa’s anger and they can be brought up well. After this, Mother Yashoda followed Krishna Ji.
